Ageing is a natural process, but that doesnt mean we cant support our skin to stay healthy, radiant, and youthful. Lets lok at some of the best ingrdients for youthful skin

While commercial anti ageing products rely on synthetics ingredients – which isnt necessarily a bad thing! Nature provides a bounty of natural extracts, oils and minerals that can nourish and protect the skin. Lets take a look at some of what nature has to offer:

Rosehip Oil

Often referred to as natures retinol, this is a powerhouse for helping with signs of ageing. Rich in vitamins A and C it aids in collagen production, maintaining elasticity and in reducing the signs of fine lines. The fatty acids helps support the skin and protect from damage. Cold processed is best as it has more nutrients, it absorbs quickly and is great as a night treatment. You can find this in a few of my products in cluding The all rounder face oil, oat cleansing balm, Co enzyme Q10 balm, Chamomile & Calendula Face Serum, Eye Serums

Aloe Vera

The ultimate skin soother. Its also packed with antioxidants, vitamins and enzymes to help with signs of ageing. Its perfect for adding hydration to skin, any may help in reducing infammation (why you often find it in after sun products!) There is a range of aloe vera products available, with powders, gels and extracts that all work great. Keep an eye out for my new facial toners launching soon with some fantastic ingredients including aloe vera!

Green Tea

Packed with antioxidants, this isnt just for drinking. It contains polyphenols which can help fight free radical damage than can cause ageing skin. Its also often used to help reduce redness and infalammation. Great for all skin types. Cooled green tea can be a nice toner and you may find it in our retinol balm (soon to be switched to bakchoil for a gentler and natural, but just as great alternative)

Sea Buckthorn Oil

The vitamin C super food. Its one of he best natural sources of vitamin C. Great for brightening skin and reducing signs of ageing. It also contains Omega-7 fatty acids which help hydration and maintain elacticity. You can find this in our Coenzyme Q10 balm. When using this oil, use sparingly as it can turn you a nice shade of yellow!
